3rd CAWF Latest News

Dear CAWF Country/Region Leaders:

I am excited to report that 186 delegates from 20 countries/regions sent in their registration to date. November in Hong Kong is fairly dry and pleasant when the temperature is mild. I am looking forward to meeting many of you and fellowshipping with you; to sharing reports from different regions and fields and to the teachings and messages of God’s words from various speakers.

As many co-workers plan the last minute details and preparations, may you remember in your prayers that all may be enriched and edified throughout their Conference experience.

Please do not hesitate to contact our office as you prepare for the Conference. Please direct your questions to fyfung@2003@yahoo.com.

In His Service,
Rev. Peter Chu

Dear co-workers in Christ,

Greetings in the name of our LORD and Savior!

Since May 12, we are gripped with attention to the news from Sichuan. And we are saddened with strong emotions when seeing dramatic footage of the damages and empathizing with many families who have lost or missing their loved ones. I trust that you have spent many hours praying for the people and the rescue.

Up to this time, the response and donations have been overwhelming. While much of the energies and resources are expended on the rescue efforts at this time, it is essential to also focus on rebuilding the city and the people’s lives. The Hong Kong Christian and Missionary organizations will lead this initiative. They are most qualified to assume this role with several decades of experience ministering in China. With this familiarity, they can recommend to us quality projects and reliable channels where overseas churches and individuals can participate and contribute to aide in the rebuilding efforts.

In the ensuing weeks, I will be providing you more information on projects where you can participate and help. If you are interested in getting the latest news, the following links: www.cornerstone.org.hk and www.cmacuhk.org.hk will connect you to the Cornerstone and the C&MA Church Union of Hong Kong.

Blessings,

Rev. Peter Chu
